Last year, I had already worked as an intern in the Technical Documentation department. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I had to work from home for almost the entire duration of my internship.    <\/p>\n<p><strong>What were your responsibilities as a bachelor&#8217;s student?  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Similar to my internship, I developed a prototype of an AR application for smartphones using Unity. For my bachelor\u2019s thesis, I examined the usability of this application to facilitate its maintenance. The original application was intended for the Microsoft HoloLens AR headset, but we eventually switched to the smartphone. I also wrote most of my thesis while working from home. However, we regularly conducted tests on-site at the client\u2019s location.      <\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n<\/div>\n\n\t<section class=\"section\" id=\"section_1476361448\">\n\t\t<div class=\"section-bg fill\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\n\t\t<div class=\"section-content relative\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-1546619312\">\n\n\n\t<div id=\"col-512708487\" class=\"col small-12 large-12\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<p><strong>Why did you apply to cideon engineering back then?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My strong personal interest in augmented reality was the main reason I joined cideon engineering. Rail vehicle technology is also a very interesting industry. The fact that cideon engineering is more of a mid-sized company further reinforced my decision.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you like about working with us?  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I like the flat hierarchies and quick decision-making processes. Meetings and discussions were also organized on short notice when needed to provide me with the best possible support while working on the project. My colleagues are always friendly and helpful.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>How would you describe the work environment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere here is very much like that among friends or family\u2014we look out for one another. I was able to organize my work very flexibly, which suited me personally very well. There\u2019s also a great coffee machine at the office \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you like to do in your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I enjoy being active and like skiing and weight training.
