Vier Tage InnoTrans und jede Menge Ideen für die Zukunft der Bahn!

Hinter uns liegen intensive Messetage mit spannenden Gesprächen, neuen Kontakten und vielen wertvollen Impulsen. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns, zahlreiche Kunden, Partner und bekannte Gesichter aus der Bahnbranche an unserem Stand begrüßen zu dürfen.

Die InnoTrans hat einmal mehr gezeigt, wie viel Potenzial in der Branche steckt. Nun gilt es, die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse, Ideen und Anfragen aufzugreifen und gemeinsam in zukunftsweisende Lösungen für den Schienenverkehr zu überführen.

Ein besonderes Highlight war der spontane Besuch von Talbot Services GmbH. Mehr dazu gibt es im Video mit Andreas.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unser Standteam Nancy, Gustavo, Florian und Michael sowie an die gesamte Mannschaft von Rail.S e. V. für die hervorragende Organisation und Umsetzung vor und während der Messe.

Besonders gefreut hat uns außerdem, dass viele unserer rund 130 Kolleginnen und Kollegen die Messe besucht haben. Der persönliche Austausch mit Kunden, Partnern und Branchenvertretern sowie spannende Einblicke in aktuelle Entwicklungen machen die InnoTrans jedes Mal zu etwas Besonderem.

Ein schöner Abschluss war der Besuch der „Rail.S-Schülergruppe“ an unserem Stand. Wir konnten Einblicke in die Welt der Bahn geben und zeigen, welche spannenden Studien- und Berufsperspektiven die Branche bietet.

180 Years of Rail Vehicle Manufacturing in Bautzen

On September 19, 2026, Alstom will open its doors in Bautzen and invite visitors to“Rail Day 2026.”

CE cideon engineering is also participating together with the Rail.S e. V. at a joint booth at the event. We look forward to celebrating this special anniversary and taking a look at the past, present, and future of rail vehicle manufacturing.

Above all, we’re looking forward to engaging conversations, seeing familiar and new faces, and sharing personal insights about the rail industry. At the same time, we’d like to take this opportunity to give interested visitors a glimpse into the diverse career and development opportunities at CE cideon engineering.

Historic Mine Train

Historic Mine Railroad in Wolfstein Successfully Modernized

At the Wolfstein Visitor Limestone Mine, we have successfully completed the technical refurbishment and modernization of the approximately 45-year-old mine train. Florian Zylla and Oliver Hahner served as technical supervisors for the project.

A particular challenge was replacing worn-out components for which identical replacement parts were no longer available. At the same time, existing interfaces, limited installation space, and operational requirements had to be taken into account.

Among other things, the following were implemented:
• Replacement of the drive motors
• Retrofitting and modernization of the control cabinet technology
• Installation of a new audio system
• Replacement of car-to-car connectors
• Replacement of wheels, chains, and bearings
• More accessible boarding thanks to a fold-up seat design and new handrails

These measures have improved the train’s availability, maintainability, and long-term usability. It has recently been reopened to the public.
