a) When visiting the website

Please note that this website is not intended for children.

When you visit our website www.cideon-engineering.com, the browser on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
  • the browser you are using and, if applicable, your computer’s operating system, as well as the name of your Internet service provider.

We process the data listed above for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring that the website connects smoothly,
  • To ensure a comfortable user experience on our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability, as well as
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest stems from the purposes of data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your identity.

In addition, we use cookies and analytics services when you visit our website. For more information, please see sections 4 and 5 of this Privacy Policy. The data collected is deleted after 7 days.

b) When using our contact form

If you have any questions, you can contact us using the form provided on our website. You are required to provide your first and last name, company name, subject, the nature of your inquiry, and a valid email address so that we know who is making the inquiry and can respond to it. Additional information may be provided voluntarily.

The data submitted via the contact form will be used to process your inquiry. Contact inquiries are processed and managed through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, HubSpot. In this process, the data you submit may be stored and processed.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent. In order to establish and conduct a business relationship and to fulfill the associated contractual obligations, it is necessary for you to provide the required personal data. The personal data we collect when you use the contact form will be deleted if:

  • the matter was finally resolved,
  • the purpose of the storage no longer applies,
  • A retention period is prescribed by law, unless you have given your consent to longer-term storage.
  1. Disclosure of Data

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for any purposes other than those listed below.
We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  • You have given your explicit consent pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (a) of the GDPR to,
  • the disclosure is necessary pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (f) of the GDPR to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims, and
    there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding legitimate interest in preventing the disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose information pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (c) of the GDPR, as well as
  • this is permitted by law and is necessary, pursuant to Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (b) of the GDPR, for the performance of contractual relationships with you.
  • In addition, we use external service providers for hosting, website operation, customer data management, marketing, analytics, and security services. To the extent that these providers process personal data on our behalf, they do so on the basis of appropriate data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware.

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. a) Google Analytics

c) Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our ads and track how visitors interact with our website.

Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, subparagraph (a) of the GDPR.

d) HubSpot

We use the services of HubSpot Ireland Limited to process and manage contact requests and to maintain relationships with customers and prospects. Data entered via forms may be stored and processed in HubSpot.

Your data is processed to handle your inquiry and based on our legitimate interests in efficient customer communication pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, or based on the consent you have provided pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

e) Security and Protection Services

We use security and protection services to safeguard our website and online forms. These include, in particular, Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Wordfence.

These services help detect and prevent automated access, misuse, and attacks on our website. In particular, IP addresses and technical connection data may be processed for this purpose.

f) Multilingualism

We use the WordPress plugin WPML to provide multilingual content.

We need your contact information in case we have any questions regarding your order or invoice. We only share your personal data with external parties to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. We are legally required to disclose data to government agencies, such as financial institutions, tax authorities, or regulatory agencies.

No data will be transferred to external parties in third countries—that is, outside the EU or the EEA—without your prior consent. Your data will be stored in accordance with legal requirements.

You have the right to:

  • pursuant to Article 15 of the GDPR, to request information about your personal data that we process.
