16th VPI Symposium

We’re kicking off 2026 with plenty of energy and are pleased to announce that our colleague Tilo Mey will be attending the 16th VPI Symposium hosted by the Association of Freight Car Owners in Germany e.V. (VPI) in Hamburg on January 13.

The VPI Symposium is one of the most important industry gatherings in the rail freight sector in Germany. The event offers valuable insights into current transportation policy issues, the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAK) system, and the key challenges facing the future of rail freight transport.

For us at CE cideon engineering, engaging with experts from the worlds of politics, logistics, and industry is particularly exciting. Only by connecting the various stakeholders can we work together to develop innovative solutions and shape the mobility of tomorrow. Digital technologies, automation solutions, and smart connectivity play a crucial role in rail freight transport.

We look forward to the discussions on digitalization in rail freight transport, new innovations in railcar technology, and the practical implementation of the Digital Automatic Coupler, which enhances efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the transportation sector.
