We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Ingo Littwin on successfully completing his degree in Transportation Engineering at TU Dresden. He wrote his thesis at CE cideon engineering, and we are very pleased that he will continue to be part of our team. 🙌

Justin Bauch has successfully completed his master’s thesis in the Renewable Energy Engineering program at Chemnitz University of Technology—a milestone that our team has been delighted to support. He has been part of CE cideon engineering since 2024, first as an intern, then as a working student, and most recently as a master’s student.

Following the fire at the Deutsche Bahn signal box in Gerwisch in September 2025, reconstruction is proceeding under enormous time pressure. In addition to building a new signal box, the entire signaling system is being replaced—a technically challenging and unplanned undertaking.

We’re kicking off 2026 with plenty of energy and are pleased to announce that our colleague Tilo Mey will be attending the 16th VPI Symposium hosted by the Association of Freight Car Owners in Germany e.V. (VPI) in Hamburg on January 13.

Congratulations to Florian Königsmann on successfully completing his Dipl.-Inf.(FH) degree in computer science at HTW Dresden—with a stellar GPA of 1.7! 🎓👏

As part of our growth, we have also been active in the Rhine-Main region since 2025. Together with our partner, ARISTHODOS, we are now represented in Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse.

Together with GATX, Deutsche Bahn, Onrail, and VTG, we lead the German mirror group and develop requirements for future freight cars.
