Strong women, strong rail industry

The VDB would like to use Rail Day as an occasion to shine the spotlight on outstanding women in the railway industry.

We are proud that three of our colleagues are part of this campaign and we would like to present them in interview.

Michaela Krenz is a project engineer in the maintenance division and, speaking from her many years of experience, she champions other women to “…just be bold.”

Luise Majetta is a project engineer in the field of mechanics and wants to encourage other women to contribute their ideas to the railway industry.

Maxi Maiwald is a computational engineer and wants to inspire more women to enter this profession.
